Bibb County criminal records require the correct state and custodian. Bibb County, Georgia and Bibb County, Alabama use different court systems and record-access routes.
Georgia access uses separate court routes. Bibb Superior Court public-record document searches use reSearchGA. Users create or sign in to the required account and then search using available case or party details. Bibb State Court uses the separate PeachCourt route. PeachCourt is a filing portal, not the underlying court file itself. For State Court criminal matters, Macon-Bibb provides separate State Court online case information through Docket Search (https://apps.maconbibb.us/statecourt/). State Court handles misdemeanor and county ordinance matters, while Superior Court handles felony matters through the Superior Court route. Use the correct court custodian rather than treating a filing portal or statewide listing as the underlying court record.
The Macon-Bibb Superior Court public records notice states that since June 22, 2023, reSearchGA serves criminal and civil document searches while eSearch remains for land and historical records. Macon-Bibb lists State Court at 478-621-6200 and Superior Court at 478-621-6527.
The linked Superior Court fee schedule is effective February 1, 2020. It lists uncertified copies at $0.50 per page for self-service or $1 per page assisted, and certified copies at $2.50 for the first page plus $0.50 for later pages. This is the published fee schedule, not a portal checkout price.
If an image or certified document is unavailable, contact the applicable clerk with the case information, requested filing, and certification need.
Bibb County Alabama District and Circuit Court proceedings are handled through the Alabama court route. Just One Look publishes a $9.99 name or case search that includes one case detail. Additional case detail is $9.99. Images are $5 for the first 20 pages plus $0.50 for each additional page. The search charge applies even when no match is found.
For missing images or certified documents, contact the applicable clerk and identify the case, exact filing requested, and certification requirement. The Bibb County Circuit Clerk fallback contact is 205-926-3103.
Court records are different from background-history products. Bibb Sheriff provides a separate background-check contact route at 478-310-4030. GBI distinguishes public felony-conviction information from own or consented history services. ALEA provides own-record fingerprint and identification routes separately from employer-oriented ABC access. Eligibility rules should be checked against the applicable official program because employer-oriented information is not a complete statement of every access situation.
